Carrot Fertility Benefits - What’s Covered?
This employer-sponsored benefits program offers a very comprehensive range of covered services. Those services include:

When it comes to doula support, Carrot Benefits normally provide a lump sum amount that an employee can seek for reimbursement. This reimbursement is eligible for either labor doula support or postpartum doula support.
Labor Doula Support - The full amount of labor doula support is reimbursable
Postpartum Doula Support - Up to 16 hours of postpartum doula support per day for up to 6 weeks following the birth
The total amount available to an individual is of course unique to their benefits package, but Doulas of Raleigh clients have had between $10,000 up to $50,000 available to go towards doula support.

Finding out if you are eligible for Carrot benefits is easy. Sign on to your HR Benefits portal or reach out directly to your Human Resources Manager at work and ask them if they offer this. If they do, you’ll be able to gain access to the Carrot Platform where you will be connected with a dedicated service rep. Your rep will be able to explain your eligible benefits, discuss how reimbursement works, and share access to a Carrot Directory of eligible doulas.

Many of the doulas that support Doulas of Raleigh clients are already approved and listed in the Carrot Directory. However, if the doula you wish to work with is not listed yet, we work quickly to help that doula get approval. Normally this process takes less than 24 hours!
